My practice is dedicated to working with individuals, couples and families. I am a licensed counseling psychologist with more than 15 years experience working with different people with many different situations and goals. I use an array of approaches in my work including solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, existential and positive psychology. I have served as an adjunct professor in clinical and counseling psychology graduate programs at Immaculata University, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and West Chester University of Pennsylvania. I am also a consulting psychologist at The Westtown School. In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, exploring new places, reading and cooking for my friends and family.
My doctorate is in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University. I received my master's degree in Counseling from the University of Delaware and I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University with a bachelor of Arts. I have co-authored multiple publications in the research area of clinical supervision, which is how the field trains new therapists. These publications include two peer-reviewed science journal articles: Development and Validation of the Evaluation Process within Supervision Inventory (2001), Journal of Counseling Psychology, and The Content and Frequency of Supervisor Self-Disclosure and their Relationship to Supervisor Style and Supervisory Working Alliance, (1999), Counselor Education and Supervision. I also served as a contributing author to the counselor training text Counselor Supervision: Principles, Process, and Practice (2001).
